How does GoldRepublic's silver bullion savings plan work?

You simply set an amount that is automatically collected from your bank account. This amount is periodically (weekly, fortnightly or monthly) converted into the quantity of silver you can buy for it, at the current silver price

By periodically buying silver, you spread your purchase moments over time, also known as dollar cost averaging (DCA). Sometimes you'll buy silver when the price is high, and at other times when it's lower. This reduces the risk of buying a large quantity of silver at an unfavourable moment.

You can always keep track of your accumulated silver holding via your GoldRepublic account, where you can also easily adjust, pause or stop your periodic contribution whenever you like.

Why save in silver bullion?

A long-term store of value:
Like gold, silver has been known for centuries as a stable and valuable investment, even in times of economic uncertainty. It retains its purchasing power over long periods.

Spread-out purchase moments:
By buying periodically, you avoid having a single moment determine your entire purchase amount. This brings more peace of mind to your savings strategy.

Accessible silver bullion investing:
With a starting amount of just £50 per instalment, you can make investing in silver bullion accessible, even if you'd rather not invest a large sum all at once.

Consistent growth:
Because you save in silver bullion by automatically contributing an amount every week, fortnight or month, you build up wealth in silver bullion without having to actively manage it.

Flexibility:
Your periodic contribution and frequency can be flexibly adjusted, and you can sell your silver via our platform at any time. In addition to saving in silver bullion, you can also save in other precious metals with GoldRepublic. Expand your portfolio, for example, with gold bullion saving or platinum bullion saving.

The handling costs for silver are £8 per kilo. You pay 1% transaction fees on the sale of your silver. This transparent cost structure ensures you save in silver bullion affordably and clearly. Want to know more about GoldRepublic's fees? View our cost overview here.
